Set sail on a one-of-a-kind BBQ cruise with BBQ E‑Boat Fiji. Glide through Fiji’s waterways aboard our 100% electric boats, and take the helm for your self-drive adventure — a fresh, green way to explore Fiji.
– Maximum 6 pax per boat — includes adults, children, and infants. – Total weight limit: 500kg per boat. – If your group exceeds guest or weight limits, you need to book a second boat.

Self-Drive Related
Can I self-drive the BBQ E-Boat?
Yes! All of our E-Boats are self-drive and require no license. We provide a safety briefing and simple training before departure, and our service boat is always nearby for support.
Is it safe to self-drive the boat without experience?
Absolutely. Our E-Boats are eco-electric, designed to be very easy to handle and speed-limited for safe cruising. No boating experience is needed — it’s just like steering a golf cart on water.
What are the requirements for self-drive?
The guest skipper must be 18+, show a valid ID, and sign a self-drive waiver before departure. We provide a full safety briefing and guidance.
Can I request a captain?
Yes, but self-driving is honestly what makes the cruise special and fun! A captain can be arranged upon request and subject to availability. Please note that having a captain onboard may affect your privacy.
Booking, Payment & Cancellations
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept cards, PayPal, bank transfers, and M-Paisa. Full payment is required upon booking.
How far in advance should I book?
Our BBQ E-Boats are popular and seats are limited. Please book at least 24 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
Can I change my booking date?
You must request date changes at least 48 hours in advance. Changes are subject to availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations over 48 hours in advance are fully refundable. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. If we cancel due to weather or safety, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.

What safety measures are in place?
All guests receive a safety briefing before departure. Life jackets are provided and our service boat is always nearby for any support.
What if I am a vegetarian?
We currently don’t offer vegetarian options, but you’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Please contact us for more details.
Are children allowed ?
Children are welcome onboard but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for their children’s safety throughout the cruise.
Is the BBQ E-Boat suitable for people with limited mobility?
Due to the boat’s size and water conditions, access may be challenging for guests with mobility impairments. Please contact us in advance to discuss your needs.

Our Denarau Self-Drive BBQ E-Boat Cruise was one of the highlights of our Fiji holiday in May. The experience was fun, relaxing, and very well organized from start to finish. The captain was incredibly friendly and made the briefing easy to understand, so driving the boat was simple and enjoyable, even for beginners. We also appreciated the additional support boat with two captains who cruised nearby, providing guidance and assistance whenever needed. The BBQ was absolutely delicious, and we were also treated to a large jar of refreshing drink and fresh fruits. It was great to know that guests could bring their own food and snacks as well. A special highlight was the historical commentary provided by one of the captains, who used a microphone connected to our boat speakers so everyone could learn about the area while cruising. To make the experience even more memorable, the captains sang the beautiful Fijian song "Bula," which perfectly showcased Fiji's warm hospitality and culture. A fantastic experience with great food, stunning scenery, friendly staff, and wonderful cultural touches. Highly recommended!

A Relaxing Ocean Escape with Amazing Staff 🌊✨
We had a lovely experience at BBQ E Boat! The ocean views were stunning and the whole atmosphere was calm, relaxing, and peaceful. It was a 3-hour trip and definitely worth the price. It wasn’t crowded at all, and there was plenty of space for our group to enjoy comfortably. The best part was the friendly staff — they were so warm, took photos for us, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. One downside was that the BBQ wasn’t available when we went, which was a bit disappointing. Towards the end of our trip, the weather got a bit rough, but overall it was still a really nice and memorable outing 🌊✨

Had a great time with bbq eboat. Very suitable and relaxing trip with our 6yo who enjoyed cooking up our lunch with a view through the mangroves.
Bbq meat was surprisingly tasty and had generous portions. Came with a generous supply of tropical juice which was greatly appreciated on such a hot day.
Maybe would have preferred to stop somewhere halfway and just relax/cook/eat instead of focusing on driving the boat for the full period.
The Bluetooth speaker was also nice, adding some music to the atmosphere.
